Sadly, summer has come to an end in Poland, and many of us are entering the “hibernation” season, which means that we will spend most our time cuddled up on our sofas in front of our TVs slash computers. As for vacations… well, they have become either a remote memory, or a distant dream, and we slowly get accustomed to the thought of „next year’s holidays”. But does this really have to be the case?

Greetings, young explorer! So, you feel the time has come for you to pack your bags and discover the world. Although travelling today is much safer and easier than when the Mayflower made its way across the ocean, still, going to far-away places requires making a lot of decisions. Many of you not only will be leaving your homes for longer for the first time, but you will also be leaving one more place you know very well – namely, your comfort zone. It is understandable, that if you are a first timer to volunteering abroad with limited experience in travelling - it might be pretty scary. But hey, if you are reading this, it means that the idea is pretty exciting and tempting too…So, you start thinking about this new venture. How should you go on? You might have heard of group travelling, and think that joining an organized group is a great idea. But on the other hand… you value your freedom and independence, and feel more comfortable when on your own. Oh, the decisions, what to do?? Take it easy, because we are here to help!
